Roughly one exchange — a visitor's question and the answer to it. A conversation is usually several, so the plan grants are rated at about seven credits per conversation. Telegram is never metered on any plan, including Free.

The assistant stops answering new conversations until the cycle resets or you buy a top-up pack. It does not keep going and bill you afterwards — overage is off on every tier at launch, so a busy month cannot produce a surprise invoice. Conversations already in progress are not cut off mid-sentence.

On paid plans, half of whatever you do not use carries into the next cycle, and the balance is capped at twice your monthly grant. Anything beyond that expires after 60 days. The Free plan does not roll over.

The Free plan is the trial and it does not expire. 500 credits a month — about 70 conversations — renewed every month, with no card asked for at any point. It is enough to see the thing working on your own site before paying anything.

Mostly because it does less. There is no shared inbox, no ticketing, no SLA reporting, no voice and no compliance certifications — the things that make a helpdesk expensive to build and to run. It answers from your pages, books, and routes leads. If you need the rest, one of the products on our comparison pages is genuinely the better buy.

Yes, up or down at any time, taking effect on the next cycle. There is no annual commitment to escape from. Downgrading does not delete anything.

No, because there is no annual plan. Monthly only. We would rather not take a year of your money up front for a product this new.

No. Free, Essential and Professional are single-operator plans by usage rather than by seat. Agency includes up to five team seats with roles, and Enterprise is unlimited. You are never billed for adding a colleague on a plan that includes seats.

Dodo Payments, as merchant of record. They handle sales tax and VAT remittance for your jurisdiction, and card details go to them directly rather than to us.

If something is broken and we cannot fix it, ask and we will refund the current month. We do not refund unused credits on a plan that worked as described — the free plan exists so you can find that out before paying.

The assistant stops answering. Your conversations, contacts and knowledge sources remain available to export for 60 days and are deleted after that. You can also delete everything yourself immediately.

It draws on the same credit pool, but at a higher rate: WhatsApp messages carry a per-message cost set by Meta which varies by country and message category. Telegram costs nothing on any plan. On Free, WhatsApp is a five-message trial once rather than a monthly allowance.

On Enterprise, yes — purchase orders and bank transfer on your payment terms. The self-serve plans are card only, through Dodo Payments.

Not today. The Free plan is a real plan rather than a demo, and Telegram being unmetered on it means a small organisation can run something genuinely useful at zero cost. If that does not cover you, it is worth an email.
